If you are reading this, please send up a prayer for my 24 year old sister. She was told today by her doctor that while they "couldn't tell her she has cervical cancer" they "can't rule it out for sure just yet". So Tuesday she will go for more testing. I am hoping to be able to do down there (she lives in Mississippi) to be with her during this. I am not sure if my schedule will permit it. She has a 3 month old little girl.

On another note. I took the boy in today for his first real eye exam. He's had the basic one for kindergarten, but since the diabetes diagnosis everything has changed. So we have a wonderful eye doctor and Matthew did great. But he's farsighted! So he will need glasses to read. After careful consideration and much trying on of frames we settled on blue power rangers frames. The boy was pleased and he looks too cute!

Tune in on Monday for "Monday Mercies" - a weekly post to help us get the week started off on the right foot!

Enjoy your weekend,
~Paige

Tell ur sis I have been praying for her. We are a STRONG family and she is very strong, too! She has MawMaw in her just like the rest of us do!

I also wanted to tell you that Andrew's 8-year-old son just got glasses. He was handsome before, but a hearthrob now! Andrew will really have to look out for him when he gets a little bit older! I'm sure your guy looks GREAT in the ones he picked!!

I also read in a magazine about a pen that has a "one meal" insulin shot included. I'm sure you've probably heard about it but thought I would tell you so you could research and see if it's a good option for your guy!

2 Chronicles 20:17 (Holman Christian Standard Bible)

17 You do not have to fight this [battle]. Position yourselves, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD. (A) [He is] with you, Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid or discouraged. (B) Tomorrow, go out to face them, for the LORD is with you. (C)

I just read your blog. This is the verse our pastor preached Sunday morning. It has weighed very heavy, and at the same time comforting, on my heart. I will claim this verse for sis. Let her know we are all with her today.
