For those who want to know...

...what my day was like today. The life of a mommy is never boring or slow, that's for sure. So I woke up in pain yet again. I have been told in the past that I have fibromyalgia and some days I am just in so much pain that's it's really difficult to function. So, for the second day in a row I woke up pretty stiff and unable to really get my right upper body to do anything. We are talking severe pain in my neck, right shoulder, and right arm. Not to mention that I just have general aches all over. Bummer.

So we do our daily morning routine with the boy. Wake up, check blood sugar, give insulin and eat breakfast. Then we see the hubbs off to work so he can make our money! Before son's diabetes, I called my hubbs my "Sugar Daddy". I told him since the diabetes I would start calling him my "Splenda Daddy".

Then after breakfast there are dishes to do and three loads of laundry to be done. Pick up things here and there and finally put my dining room back together. The hubbs got a shipment (well more like a whole store) of computer stuff to put together a pretty awesome set up for a ministry that we are involved in and he commandeered the dining room for a few days.

Next the son and I did homeschooling. We try to stick to a daily routine with this, but the beauty of homeschooling is that we can be flexible. We did math (addition and also learning about how to read the calendar and write the proper date on our papers), language/phonics (two rules: "k before I and e and c before the other three - a,o, u" and also "if there are two vowels in a word the first vowel says it's name and the second vowel is silent"), spelling list # 3 that the boy has had a hard time with so we have been going over it some more so he can get it good before we move on. We will do science, social studies, and bible tonight. The hubbs helps out in the evenings sometimes when we do school stuff in the evening.

Then came signing up for the required homeschool legal covering and taking papers by the homeschool cover school to officially enroll the boy. This will keep us within the state rules and regulations regarding the education of our son.

Next a stop at the old church to see a friend. A trip to the store for mostly chocolate chip muffin mix, but a few other things as well. On to the bank to put in money from our yard sale.

Then it's on to the oral surgeon!!! I am still having problems after having ALL 4 of my wisdom teeth cut out two weeks ago. I'm having some pretty severe nerve pain on the right side of my jaw and mouth. So the dentist messed around in my mouth and took some xrays and then gave me a medication to help with the nerve pain. Let's hope!!

Then on to the pharmacy to get the prescription. And finally home to rest...

Oh wait...

I still have clothes to fold and dinner to cook.

I think tomorrow I am holing up in the house with the boy. I may even stay in my pj's all day!!!

I had that same feeling today ... uggh, when am I ever finished with things? My daughter wanted me to play with them after we ran errands for half of the day and I had to say 'well...I have to put the groceries away, do the dishes, make supper ...' Stinks. I should have played with them...
Hope you feel better tomorrow :)
Blessings!

The Splenda Daddy. That's funny!

I'm sorry you are hurting. I hope that in the midst of the aches and pains you find the joy of His presence.

You have my undying appreciation, respect, and love. I may bring home the bacon, but you work way harder than I do.

Love the spenda daddy! Sorry you are still having so much trouble with your teeth. I hope the pain goes away soon.

I spent some time working from home and being a stay at home Mom when Noah was a baby. It was SO much harder than a regular job. But I really enjoyed the time. Cherish it in spite of the extra chores!
